Deleting Your Account

At PhilSocial, we respect your choice to delete your account if you decide to leave our platform. Follow these simple steps to permanently delete your account:

Steps to Delete Your PhilSocial Account

1. Go to Your Main User Profile

• Tap the three lines in the user header on the right-hand side of your profile.

2. Select “Delete My Account”

• Click the Delete My Account button.

3. Confirm Deletion

• Tap Confirm to finalize your decision.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

Your Profile Becomes Invisible

• Your profile will no longer be visible to anyone on PhilSocial.

Your Data Is Permanently Deleted

• All your data, including photos, posts, videos, and any other content you’ve added, will be permanently deleted.
• You won’t be able to retrieve any of this data after the deletion process is complete.

You Lose Access to Your Account

• You will no longer be able to log in or reactivate your PhilSocial account.

Your Wallet Stays With You

• Even though your PhilSocial account is deleted, your PhilSocial wallet will remain active.
• Your wallet is hosted on the blockchain (e.g., Polygon), so you can still connect to it through any cryptocurrency wallet platform like MetaMask or similar tools.

Want to Rejoin PhilSocial Later?

If you decide to create a new PhilSocial account:

• You can use the same email address or choose a different authentication method.
• You can:
  • Create a new wallet, or
  • Import your existing wallet by connecting it to your new account.
• Rest assured: nothing tied to your blockchain wallet will be lost.
